Now, this time it’s ‘nanoru namonai’ located in Yoyogi-Hachiman. It is a one-minute walk from Yoyogi-Koen Station.
This restaurant is run by an old friend of mine who is the chef. They have recently opened new locations in Ningyocho and Fukui, and it’s a restaurant that’s currently on the rise.
It’s casual and easy to drop by, making it a great place to stop in for a drink, and it’s also stylish and convenient for dates or girls’ nights out.
Now, let’s introduce some of the dishes.
Oyster Butter and Parmesan Baguette
The rich, savory butter of the flavorful oysters combined with the depth of Parmesan makes this dish a perfect pairing with white wine, encouraging endless enjoyment.
Pâté de Campagne
A delicacy made with pork and liver.
As you take a bite, it melts in your mouth with a unique aroma, allowing you to savor the rich flavors of pork and spices.
Grilled Vegetables
Just grilled vegetables!!
Yet, they are very popular.
The restaurant has an iron griddle where the vegetables are grilled. They are seared well to bring out a roasted aroma and finished in a way similar to braising, where they are quickly steamed.
It’s a simple dish, which makes it all the more challenging.
The main dish is, of course, meat.
The restaurant’s specialty is its various meat dishes.
This time, I ordered the lamb chops.
They are served with a balsamic sauce, which pairs perfectly with red wine.
Apologies to those who aren’t fond of lamb.
I had the foie gras risotto.
The chef originally specialized in Italian cuisine.
It was a rich and exquisite risotto.
The classic dessert: gâteau au chocolat
You can already tell it’s delicious without me saying it. The rich chocolate leaves a lingering bitterness.
That’s how it was.
If you happen to be nearby, why not drop by?
Oh! It can get quite crowded, so I highly recommend making a reservation.
Well then, see you later! 🖐️
